Check out SnagFilms for all your Free Documentary needs!












Hello Peeps! Happy Spring to you all!

If you are interested in independent and free documentary films you will want to go to : SnagFilms where you can choose from 1,000 different films on many topics.

You can search by topic, what's hot, channels (of their supporters), and a to z

Topics cover everything from the humorous to the disturbing and all points in between. Films with adult content are clearly labeled as such.  Film lengths vary from minutes to hours but all appear to have commercial intros....FYI.

What's Big & Scaly & First Appeared in Japan in November 1954?



Godzilla (or "Gojira" as he was known at the time) was first seen in Japanese theaters November 3rd, 1954 and has gone on to become a pop-culture icon to the world.

A Spooktacular Happy Birthday To . . .


Bela Lugosi who was born on this day in 1882 in Lugos outside the western border of Transylvania. He has   remained (in spite of the Twilight series) the quintessential Count Dracula of all time. (IMHO)

Official Bela Lugosi Website is run by the Lugosi family and many pages appear to be under construction. This site is worth a look see for the cool intro plus the biography is written by his son, Bela Lugosi, Jr., and gives a unique perspective on the famous actor's life.

Did you know that after his death he was evidently buried in one of his Dracula capes? How cool is that?

It's also not a huge compendium of quotes but what is there is quite pithy (so says Miss Bun).

You can search via People (there are also brief bios for those quoted) or Source or Tags.

There are tabs for New Quotes, Saved, Post, About, and Login/Register.
